At Spotlight On Me, we want you to look and feel your best when giving an interview or interacting with the media. Whether it's a crash course in Media 101, a TV or radio interview, a quick piece for print, or even making videos and social posts for your business, we offer a variety of topics and course lengths designed to help you achieve optimal interview and presentation results!

All courses below are live trainings conducted either in person or via Zoom. Each course comes with a free digital or physical copy of Spotlight On Me: A Guide to Giving Great Interviews and Commanding Media. At your request, courses can be recorded and will be sent to you after the session along with resources to ensure your success.

OFFICE HOURS

Office Hours is our free monthly media training session where you can meet Rae Williams and ask everything from tips on media training to advice on how to flourish in your entertainment reporting career. Usually held on the first Friday of the month, Office Hours is held virtually on Zoom.

INTERVIEW CRASH COURSE

Have an interview, podcast, speech or event coming up, like, tomorrow? Don't worry! Interview ASAP is designed to give you the basics and get you ready for an interview in the little time you have.

In 30 - 45 minutes, we'll give you a crash course on the basics or review your speech with you giving you quick, but detailed pointers to calm your nerves and put your best foot forward.

A 1-hour guided course on presenting. This course covers a variety of topics necessary to present an idea in a boardroom, to your boss, to an investor, on camera for your website or anything else.

We'll touch on presentation prep, pitching your ideas, dress and style tips, breaking bad habits like ums and ahs, how to answer controversial questions and practice tips.
